  • “Alzheimer’s is inevitable with age.”
Nope! Age is a risk factor, not a cause. Lifestyle can make a huge difference.
  • “Memory loss is the only symptom.”
→ It often starts there, but also affects decision-making, movement, and more.
  • “If my parent had it, I will too.”
→ Only 3–5% of cases are truly genetic. Lifestyle plays a larger role for most of us.
  • “Supplements can prevent or reverse it.”
→ There’s no magic pill — but there is strong evidence for whole food nutrition, sleep, movement, and mental engagement.
  • “It’s too late once symptoms start.”
Never too late. Lifestyle changes can slow progression and improve quality of life.
  • “It’s a hopeless diagnosis.”
→ With knowledge, connection, and support, people can still lead meaningful, connected lives.
